18 shifting expressions that together open up the doors to The Valand Academy after cleaning their desks, cleaned their hard drives, breathed chemicals, consumed all their money on movies & materials, neglected their friends & learned to find in an institutional mansion, are now united in this year's first group exhibition for the BA1´s Fine Art Photography at the Valand Academy.

With varying approaches to artistic practice, the image of photography is fragmented & the remains forms the whole. By cutting the idea of photography into eighteen bits, the students invite to interpretations of what photography today could be like.
